Terri Polachek

Terri is a seasoned operations executive with more than 30 years of experience spanning commercial real estate, banking, technology, airline operations, and hospitality. Since joining Dominus Commercial in 2019, she has become a key member of the company’s leadership team, working closely with ownership across acquisitions, brokerage operations, financing, human resources, and the day-to-day execution of the business. Terri plays an integral role in Dominus Commercial’s office acquisition activities, helping manage transactions from initial evaluation through due diligence and closing. Her responsibilities include coordinating property and financial due diligence, organizing loan and closing documentation, working with lenders, attorneys, brokers, consultants, and other transaction parties, and keeping the many moving pieces of an acquisition on track. She was closely involved in Dominus’ acquisition of Brookhollow Central in Houston and continues to play a key role in evaluating and executing new office investment opportunities. In addition to acquisitions, Terri helps oversee brokerage activities and supports the operational side of Dominus Commercial. She also leads many of the company’s human resources and internal administrative functions, giving her a unique view across both the investment and operating sides of the business. Prior to entering commercial real estate, Terri built a diverse career in banking, technology, airline operations, and hospitality. Her experience includes managing complex technology projects for Hewlett Packard and Electronic Data Systems, as well as working in banking and regulated operating environments. That background developed the organizational discipline, attention to detail, and ability to manage complex processes that she now brings to commercial real estate transactions. Known for her drive, loyalty, and ability to get things across the finish line, Terri is a hands-on leader who believes no task is beneath her. Around Dominus, she has earned the nickname “The Handler” — if something needs to get organized, solved, coordinated, documented, or simply done, chances are Terri is somewhere in the middle of it. A Dallas native, Terri brings a practical, get-it-done approach to everything she takes on and has become an important part of both the culture and continued growth of Dominus Commercial.
